Caring for children during illness and health, and supporting their development from infancy through adolescence.
I spent my childhood moving between New Zealand, Australia and the US and pursued my dream of becoming a ballerina all the way through college at Butler, earning a BA in Dance. Injuries interrupted my dance career and I rethought my goals deciding to follow my father into medicine by attending the Medical University of South Carolina and the Pediatrics through residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. I’m so glad I did! Even on the worst of days I walk into an exam room to find a child waiting there and I spend my day smiling. I joined Southside Pediatrics in 2007 and with your help, I provide medical students from IU Medical School with mentored shadowing opportunities in Pediatrics. Thank you all for sharing your children with me.
